Notes – Home shirt as worn in the disappointing Euro 2008 qualification campaign under Steve McClaren where a 3-2 defeat at home to Croatia meant it would be a summer at home for some of England’s ‘golden generation’. This design was also worn in some of Fabio Capello’s early games in charge where he omitted several senior figures from his squad and opted for less experienced players such as Curtis Davies and Gabriel Agbonlahor
