The claret and blue strip resembles County’s first strip after their formation as a Highland League club in 1929, prior to changing to their existing navy blue colours in 1953.
County’s formation resulted from the amalgamation of North Caledonian League sides Dingwall Victoria United and Dingwall Thistle and the club crest, which depicts a stag’s head, was designed from the regimental badge of the Seaforth Highlanders.
